"WAVE" No.2

Editorial

Dear friends,

a month ago we launched the first issue of the International Youth Web Magazine "WAVE". It's always hard to start something new but we are happy to say that we received so many e-mails with nice words, compliments and positive reactions. That's a good sign that you forgave our first mistakes and that we succeeded in creating something good, after long preparations and coordinating an international team. So, "World Youth Wave - Serbia" started its new project and proved once more the fact there are no borders among young people who can cooperate and work together regardless of where they come from, if they are willing to do this.

We are happy to see the increasing number of visits on our website and we hope to keep going like that. Also we received proposals for cooperation with some international youth organizations and this is the way to say thanks to all of them and to repeat that we are always open for new and fresh ideas and projects. Some people wanted to contribute to "WAVE" and asked if they could join our team, so you will see new names in the Editorial Staff. The door is still open.

In Issue No.2 the main topics are: the review of SORCE Network youth festivals in 2006, where we/you have been and what the impressions were. Romania will become an EU member starting with January 1, 2007 and the situation in Kosovo is not the best one. How to travel by plane at a low cost and what the future of Public Relations sector is in Serbia. UNESCO declared 2006 The Year of Nikola Tesla, so you can read about celebrating the Genius. Irish music is popular in Serbia and one more World Championship is behind us: women volleyball. Last but not least, you can relax on the Danube Delta and come to the "Edge of the World".

But when you arrive there, don't forget that "WAVE" No.3 will wait for you in January.
