"WAVE" No.4
February 2007

Editorial

Dear friends,

the first month of the year usually doesn't bring too much news and happenings. We enjoy the celebrations, take a rest or make plans for following year. The last weeks my attention was occupied with the news about media projects that prove the fact globalization is here, among us. As first, I received an e-mail and offer for cooperation from Europocket.tv, a kind of European TV that you can watch on the web, and also over mobile phones. Then our young collegaues from Germany decided to start project of European print Magazine. They gathered the big team of journalists, designers and translators all over the Europe and the new baby was born - its name is "Indigo" magazine. And finally, I got an information about European youth radio that should start the programme in Nantes, France. We are proud that "WAVE" is in such a good company and completing the international media network (radio, TV, print, web).

It wasn't my intention to write again about the number of visits on our website but statistics is so cruel and it says that January 2007 was the month with the highest number of unique visits on www.wavemagazine.net. We know that sometimes numbers can't show the right picture if you don't know the background of the story but, however, we are happy to see that our work is noticed and the people read "WAVE" more and more. Editorial Staff promise to improve the magazine every month and to be better and more productive for you.

In February Issue we decided to tell you about Serbian Parliamentary Elections. Also in Politics section you can find a story about Hugo Chavez and opinion on democracy. We announce to you International Student Week in Belgrade that is going to take place in summer 2007, and present Youth Informative Agency from Bosnia and Herzegovina. For the Eastern Europe New Year's Eve could be the cold one again because of the Russian gas crisis and if you want to read something nice, you can find Bosnian winter tourism and Museum-town Pocitelj. Is Art an Entertainment - you can find the answer in this issue and also find out what's new on Las Vegas electronics show.

Enjoy your reading!
