Serbian Radical Party won the most votes, but parties of the democratic block will have majority in the parliament

Elections for National Assembly of Serbia were held on 21st January 2007. There were 6,653,851 voters eligible to vote (14 thousand more than on constitutional referendum in October 2006) and voters' turnout was 60, 56% (4,029,286). This is one of the higest turnouts in the past few years. On the constitutional referendum 2006, it was 53,66% and on last parliamentary elections in 2003 - 59,3%. Serbian Radical Party won the most votes, but parties of the democratic block will have a majority in parliament. It is still unsure whether Serbian parties would come to agreement and form the government or if Serbia will have to deal with new elections.


Serbian Radical Party: 1,152,105 votes - 28,59% - 81 seats
Democratic Party: 915,014 votes - 22,71% - 64 seats
Democratic Party of Serbia - New Serbia: 666,889 votes - 16,5% - 47 seats
G17+: 274,874 votes - 6,8% - 19 seats
Socialist Party of Serbia: 227,304 votes - 5,6% - 16 seats
LDP-GS-SDU-LSV: 214,028 votes - 5,3% - 15 seats

Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians: 52,458 - 1,3% - 3 seats
Coalition List for Sandžak: 33,819 - 0,84% - 2 seats
Roma Union of Serbia: 16,995 - 0,42% - 1 seat
Albanian Coalition from Preševo Valley: 16,972 - 0,42% - 1 seat
Roma Party: 14,568 - 0,36% - 1 seat
