"WAVE" No.6
April 2007

Editorial

Dear friends,

here we are with you presenting WAVE No.6. Already half an year together or - as EU would say: "Together since November 2006". Well, half of the century is not quite the same as half an year but we hope this means we are on the half of our good way? Well, we certainly would like that. Thank you for being so active in last month, it seems you liked the articles we brought to you in March and you made our counter of website visits the highest since the very beginning. We promise to be even better. For all of you celebrating Easter in April, congratulations and best wishes!

As you will probably notice by yourself, too - we made some little layout changes: titles are easier to recognize (font is bigger), signatures are a little different and we will also try to improve our contents in next months. Maybe you will see some new sections, refreshing pages will be more often as we know monthly magazine is not so usual and not the best one for web journalism. But every start is hard and we hope you to help us with your suggestions and opinions.

The topic of this issue is, of course, as we are international web magazine, 50th anniversary of European Union. You will read about beginning of European integration and where we are now, with predictions how the things could go in the future. Political situation is hot topic in Ukraine, as well as in Kosovo. Our colleagues published the first European printed magazine "Indigo", British Council launched Fame Lab competition and is searching for new science pop idols and young Italian student is fighting for fair mobile costs. If you didn't see good theatre play recently, you can read a review and our reporter spent some time in Trieste, Italy, to present you International Centre for Theoretical Physics.

Enjoy your reading!
