Fly Jumpers
Quite Impressive and Hot

Have you already noticed them? They are everywhere, invading the hearts
of extreme-lovers and bringing adrenalin to their blood. They are
fly jumpers. 9 kg per two fly jumpers with an iron spring being the
main part, which lets you literally fly 3-5 meters high and fight
the laws of Earthly gravity.
Basics: Produced in China; Spread in Poland, Czech Republic,
the UK; Original predecessors of fly jumpers where devices for disabled
people to ease the walking process.
"First time I was using them I convinced myself that one should
never trust internet promotions", says Filip Borcov, who has
brought this virus to Lithuania in December 2006 after watching a
video clip on the internet. Now this sport is spreading among those
who appreciate the moment of null gravity, and can tell stories about
fallings with satisfied and happy expressions on their faces. In fact,
fly jumping is a complete free style once you feel comfortable on
these devices; your imagination helps you to go beyond the common
knowledge.
"Even if fly jumper project will not bring expected profit, it
is definitely fun!" Filip mentions. When you observe his pirouettes
in the air, and follow the astonished looks of
the passing by people, and especially children whose eyes are shining
when
they
are looking at the "flying wizard", you become confident
that this sport has no limitations for those who admire it.
"For this sport, you just
need to be sporty", Filip says. Why? It requires a lot of energy.
To be more specific, during the first training the pressure is strong
on the knees, afterwards on the back. I certify the first part; my
knees are merely functioning after fly jumping. A note for females:
you are burning approximately 1 kilo/hour, while using fly jumping
diet. One male fly jumper said that girls usually put on fly jumpers
only to take pictures. Hmmm... That's not true!
If you are experimenting with fly jumping for the first time, you
will be rather a fly stepper... A nice label for a fly lamer! Professionals
tell about flying and seeing the roofs the cars from above, but for
me it was a stable fixation of my eyes on the marvelous pavement at
the Basanavicius alley in Palanga. I certainly did not get bored,
because first you see it from above, but then you can (and will) have
a closer look at every stone, with which the alley is paved, while
somersaulting in desperate attempts to rise with this 9 extra kilos
on your legs. Practice, practice, practice! Remember, when you were
a little kid, at first you were just creeping around wondering how
they, "big people", are walking? The same with fly jumpers
(at least I hope that the next time I will be able to jump at least
just a little bit).
Keep yourself down to earth, be realistic... Oh no, don't! As one
fly jumper said, "I must admit, it's quite impressive and hot!"
Isn't it the way to go?
