Dear friends,

the Games have started and I guess many of you have been part of those four billion people watching spectacular Opening Ceremony of 29th Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. This is definitely the most important sport's event in the world, and that's why you shouldn't miss it - or you will have to wait next four years. It's not only about sports but the global fair of world politics, economics, cultures… So, find some time and check out your knowledge. Or just have fun and cheer your national teams.

Your reactions to our new language edition - Serbian, were quite good and positive. We are glad to hear that you support our development and innovations of Wave magazine. Our next step should offer you more interaction but that's Autumn surprise.

Olympic Games are the topic of the issue, definitely. Also we are telling you about arresting of Radovan Karadzic and conflict in Georgia / South Ossetia. Smoking regulation was very hot topic in Germany last weeks, and some countries, including Brazil, have brought or proposed laws on Internet and cybercrimes. Very controversial measures, as you can read. We bring you the story about corporate social responsibility, which becomes important in business relations. Also, Wave magazine keeps researching on the future of Serbian scene and this time we are telling you about the choice between state-funded and private academies. Serbian director tells you about his work and experiences and in Science section you will find a story on modulating taste and how Internet changes our habits. The most significant cycling race took place in France last month and one more series of articles start from this issue, about the best goal scorers.
