"WAVE" No.24
October 2008

Editorial

Dear friends,

journalism is very often unpredictable and sometimes you start with one idea and reality (not virtual) turns everything around and then comes the famous last-minute-change. We are lucky not to print our magazine yet, so it's easier to adjust content. I say this because we had one plan for topic of October but then we received articles and the conclusion was - this is party time and a month of festivals, let's bring to you as many as possible from these events.

Anyway, we did not forget our promise from September. Our participation in International Conference on Youth Media in Skopje, Macedonia brought to WAVE magazine numerous contacts, new friends, colleagues and supporters. As a first result, here comes a contribution from our Turkish friend - she wrote a report for you to see what was going on in Skopje and what's actual about Youth Media on international level.

As I mentioned above, you will be able to have fun with October issue - Street Fashion festival in Germany, Festival of City and Culture in Slovenia, Day of Princess in Netherlands, Belgrade International Theatrical Festival, Oktoberfest... Ok, not all of them are only fun - there are educational, artistic and so on... In politics we continue the story about Caucasus and bring another hot topic about UN resolution that asked International Court of Justice to say its word on Kosovo independence. Our Italian friend took part in UN Human Rights conference in Paris and brings you his report. One more youth action comes from Wales, telling about climate changes. Alitalia came into final phase after months of agony and if you were asking on blogging and how to blog anonimously, here comes our guide. International Comics Showroom took place in Belgrade. New season of Champions League has just started, so hurry up with bets on your favorites!

Enjoy your reading!
