Today,
this Slovenian composer is a member of several music groups and promoter of different
sorts of music. In cooperation with Gypsy Swing Band, this year he published
the album Pod srećnom zvezdom (Under a shining star), which has already
gained attention of the listeners. Also, two books have recently been published
about the life and work of this eminent musician, which was practicly how the
celebration of his thirty years long work began... 
'The
Robbers' was written in 18th century and it is considered to be the first melodrama
ever. When a modern man takes a play such as 'The Robbers', he cannot help
but find some things ridiculous, pathetic or dramaturgically problematic. We do
not do things the same way people 200 years ago did and vice versa. Therefore,
the play poses a dilemma: was Schiller jesting (if so, our production is adequate)
or not. If not, the mankind has changed greatly for the past 200 years and 'The
Robbers' must be performed in a different manner. This makes our production
adequate, one way or another...

than 130 students took part in this year's Students Amateur Art Days, held in
the theatre hall Stoyan Buchvarov in the city centre of Varna. The hall, which
in general is big enough, was overcrowded, with people not only sitting, but also
standing...
