Another Russian-Ukrainian dispute
Empty
Pipelines taking Hostages After Gazprom stopped
gas shipments, the most dramatic scenario was seen in Bulgaria, Serbia and Bosnia,
where people in several cities with no gas alternatives, were left out of heating.
Europe, being dependent on gas coming from Russia in more than 80 percent, was
in a position to step into a dispute between Ukraine and Russia. Both sides agreed
to end the row risen upon debt and pricing... >>
Trading or political war of Russia and Ukraine
There
is nothing new in the East It
is not a secret that Ukraine sees its strategic future in the EU and NATO, and
not within the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet republics). According
to that, Moscow thinks that it is normal for Ukraine to apply the same rules like
all other Europeans. Three years ago, then President of Russia Vladimir Putin
was talking about nonsense that his country finances, from its own budget, Ukrainian

towards European integration (1)
A last-ditch effort for EU
The chief obstacle in Serbia's path of joining the European Union
is still in its cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former
Yugoslavia (ICTY). Following the arrest of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan
Karadzic, the public opinion shuddered at the Netherlands' solitary refusal to
unfreeze the EU trade and aid pact. As a foreign scrape goat for what is happening
to us, after Javier Solana and Carla Del Ponte, for the first time the name of
Maxim Verhagen was mentioned... >>

fifth time before Christmas deejays are locked up to make money for a charity
organisation. This year all the money goes to 'Het Rode Kruis', which has about
37 million refugees all over the world... >>
Youth and aggression From
boredom to violence A cruel reality like
poverty, with no-perspective and the reign of the superior are just excuses. We
will always find someone else to blame. But instead of placing the blame on one
another, we should be solving the problem... >>

of European current affairs on the internet in seven different languages - English,

"Pixar"
studio for animation lanced in 2008 movie "Wall-E", which was one of
the five the most popular but also the most payable movies during the last year,
and in the end of 2008 appeared their new film "Bolt". For May 2009
there is announced "Up", so it is seemed to be very useful to repass
the facts about "Pixar", having in mind the Pixar's accelerating plans
for future, richer and with new courses... >>
In Memoriam: Harold Pinter (1930-2008) The
Final Wink of the Old Fox Having read and watched his interviews,
the interviews of a man who once was a repertory actor, performing in out-of-the-way
places of the Great Britain, one can only be certain that his plays were not mere
philosophical explications of a general hopelessness and uncertainty. He is a
Bekett, but a unique one, more direct, more accessible Bekett, a Bekett put into
a genre. Pinter knows how to tell a story, especially in its first, action layer;
it is a story audience can relate to without nodding slowly as its metaphysics
enters their lives. That is probably where the mixed terms used to describe Pinter
come from... >>

Science in Sports "Hawk-Eye"
vs. Trick of the Eye A team of researchers
at University of California, Davis have shown that the unfortunate umpire may
have been a victim of a common trick of the eye. Scientists have shown that tennis
referees are vulnerable to an optical illusion that makes balls appear to be out,
when they actually land just inside the court... >>
Colourful Life What
is your colour? Based on the results of the
Dewey Color System test, we can conclude that persons who represents "yellow-green"
type are caring and good listeners. "Blue-orange" persons are builders
and at the same time unstable-mooded: at the moment they are innovative and in
the other, they are traditional criticists. "Red" and "pink"
persons are the best in making priorities. There are also theories about links
between certain colors and specific geometry shapes... >>
Sport The
new Tennis Season 2009 Many
Colours in the White Sport We
can expect an interesting battle among the top four male players: the excellent
Rafael Nadal, too early written-off Roger Federer, ambitious Novak Djokovic and
Andy Murray who is in the best shape of his life. Among the female players is
difficult to say who the favorite is, but the competition will once again be strong:
Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic, Williams sisters, Dinara Safina, Elena Dementieva...
are all the candidates for the top... >>

1990s Great
Come-Back Side by
side with the political struggle of the last ten years, there was also another,
hidden but extremely important fight - a musical one. On the one hand: 'turbo-folk',
'diesel' and 'dance music' evolved to the status of the life style, and on the
other hand: pop, rock, blues and jazz were totally forgotten. And in the middle
there were people... >>
