Italian comicsIt is a fact that in last few years the great classical popular comics have suffered a lot due to the technological advancement and it is no longer the main mean of fun as it used to be in 1970s and 80s. Back then, comics were one of the most available means of written communication and therefore I can say that today there is a crisis in the field of Italian comics. On the other hand, that big crisis and the lack of mass production influenced the authors to produce work of higher quality! Vera Obradovic"Lada Kapičić, the editor of the drama program at House of Culture Studentski grad, invited me to create the authorship project with which we could apply for the grant that The Belgrade City Hall is awarding every year. The novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray" is definitely grateful for transposing into choreo-dramatic theatre and that was crucial. As soon as I thought on that piece, I hadn't yet written a project proposal, but I finished with acting cast in my head, that is, I immediately invited Ivan Nikolić, Aleksandar Đinđić, Borjanka Ljumović, Primož Vrhovec and it turned out to be one of their favorite book. Zone of the Dead (Zona mrtvih)

Directed by: Milan Todorović and Milan Konjević

Zone of the Dead
Based on the patterns of zombie films, to which pioneers ( primarily Romero's films) refers to very often through the actors, situations and lines, the Zone, in our conditions, given non-existing Serbian film ascendants on which would this one continue, turns out to be quite a proper feature about the inconsiderate living dead. And all thanks to the rhythm of the film that occupies the attention of the viewer. Even those scenes which appear to be a comical intermezzo (the explaining of the tragic event which occurs when the work starts being more important than the woman), or much exausting and shivering pesudo documentary camera in the action scenes, cannot destroy that feeling... full story
