Despite
the current crisis of automobile industry in the world, the International motor
show in Belgrade was held in accordance with long tradition and high reputation
of this fair. The world's largest manufacturers and domestic importers of passenger
cars, commercial vehicles, related parts and equipment were present in the capital
of Serbia for a week.
Belgrade Car Show was held from 27th March to 5th
April. Visitors could see numerous premieres and more than 500 exhibitors, on
the area of 40,000 square meters of space. It is the first time this year that
exhibitors of passenger cars have occupied the four largest halls of the Fair.
So this show could announce some better days and recovery of automobile industry,
as all the biggest manufacturers and importers of cars, parts and equipment, have
come to show their products. With the motto "Discover your wishes",
this Fair has brought the latest models of the world's most famous automotive
brands.
While
some manufacturers around the world, due to recession and the current financial
crisis, delay the premiere of their new models until the end of the year, many
new models of cars, recently shown in Geneva, were presented at this year's Belgrade
Car Show. After that they are travelling to London and Berlin.
Visitors
have seen 48 premieres, of which three are the world news, four European postpremieres
and 35 models first time appearing on the Serbian and regional market.
It
is the first time for Lexus to appear as an exhibitor in Belgrade. Visitors have
had an exclusive view on brand new Mazda3, and it was very interesting to see
a new Chinese jeep CEO. In Hall 5 there were displayed the latest models of Porsche
SCG company, with its brands Audi, SEAT and Volkswagen, as well as with light

the purchase of vehicles and equipment.
