"WAVE" No.31
May 2009

Editorial

Dear friends,

Serbia has got its first professional tennis tournament. Serbia Open from ATP 250 Series has been played in past ten days in Belgrade and it was something really fresh and new here. World top players have arrived, playing matches in front of crowded stadiums, trainings, autographs... WAVE magazine was among those privileged media houses to see the event from the first row. Actually, from the very ground. And it was really exciting. That's why I strongly recommend you to visit tennis tournament if you are able to - it is not only about sport, it is about business, friendship, fun...

Our deputy editor-in-chief is spending her one-month-study-visit to Netherlands and that is the reason for May issue to be launched a little bit late but we are still trying to go on time. I guess she will bring some new ideas to make WAVE magazine more creative and innovative. Isn't that one of main purposes of study visits? :-)

ATP Serbia Open 2009 is in Topic of the issue for May. You will find a report, an interview and comment, all together with many photos around. We are going more and more international, so we have an article about North Korea Missile Launching in Politics. Also very actual topic is recent NATO summit and European elections are closing and we are presenting you the newest political party Libertas. Our new colleague from Germany writes about East-West relations in classroom and Croatian and Serbian students have protested. Again. Somalia is waiting for peace... In Economics, again about crisis. This time about job market and youth opportunities in Romania. And about first Wi-Fi Mesh Network in Serbia. In Culture & Arts we present you how cultural diplomacy can have greater impact than classic one. Tijana writes about Belgrade Dance Festival and April Artist Meetings. New music review comes about Scar Symmetry. Pirate Bay Trial has got its first epilogue and that is in Science & Tech, as well as an article on micro-seaweed. Finally, you can go to Kokino Megalithic Observatory in Entertainment section.

Enjoy your reading!
