I
learned that the real journalists are heroes of the everydays. To deal with the
stress, the boss and the deadline, the disasters of the world is a real service.
Besides, I'm waiting for the time when iPhone will be cheaper than now. I wait
for the application which I can cut voice on my phone. And wait for the time when
it will be well-paid again. I should be a TV star, but before I will start a blog.
It said to be a kind of journalism, who knows
Top
3 on ISWIB 2009 ISWiB
- a 100% unforgettable experience!
Last,
and the most important for me is Top number 3 - connecting people. We started
to communicate right away. At the arrival at the hostel. With some, in Belgrade
we shared hours, days, nights, good feelings, bad feelings, happiness and sadness.
Probably with some of them we are going to stay in close touch, and with others,
first phase of becoming real friends had just began
Spirit
of ISWiB Challenges
of Changes and not only...
The
ISWiBers, as present and future Change makers, from now on will response to local
and global challenges by their actions while back home, trying to make even small
changes in their countries first. But the most valuable change that could be felt
at the end of the festival - is the change in heart and mind, which sometimes
is too personal and too emotional to describe
Politics General Elections
in Japan Goodbye,
Mr. Taro Aso "Today, I, Taro Aso, decided
to dissolve the House of Representatives and seek a popular mandate." These
were the introductory words of the speech given by Mr. Aso in a press conference
on July 21st 2009, which led to call general elections on August 30. These elections
will designate the share of seats in the House of Representatives and, very possibly,
will appoint a new Prime Minister in the country of the rising sun... >>
The murder of Natalia Estemirova
Another
voice is silenced while the West sleeps on Chechnya
As some members of the European Parliament used to say, Natalia Estemirova
was an emblematic moral figure in the non-violent Chechen resistance. And for
trying to publicise brutal human rights abuses in Chechnya, she paid with her
life. But Natalia's fate have not been a one-off. Three years ago, the fierce
investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya was also shot dead and her killers
are still at large. Now, there is a widespread concern that the people behind
Natalia's death will never be brought to justice by the fact that the Kremelin
turns a blind eye to violations of human rights. That is where Western governments
should come in, as some political analysts defend... >>

Illegal emigration and the African Youth Journey
of unknown destination
Many of African youths regard the ambition of travelling to the advanced countries
through the illegal routes as a 'do or die' matter. Each of these journeys has
always been accompanied by severe dangers that have increasingly sent many migrants
to their early graves. Thousands of lives have been lost in the process as a result
of boat capsizing at the sea or thirst and hunger on the desert... >>

Legendary violonists: George Enescu, the
prodigy child When
good music leaves its country of origin
Born on 19th august 1881 in Liveni village, Romania, the last child of
his parents and the only survivor nonetheless, Enescu had from whom to inherit
the love for music: his mother played the guitar, while his father the violin.
He received his first violin when he was just 4 years old and in less than one

Science & Tech The tricky
relationship game is partly a biological affair Chemistry
of Love If you randomly go out and fail to
establish the necessary link with a supposed contestant to be your partner, do
not worry. The explanation might be in your genes. Yes, that is it. More precisely,
it is thought to be in your MHC - a large genomic region which is responsible
for the immune system. It may seem completely odd, but, according to scientific
evidences, this apparently innocent chromosome region may play a decisive role
when one picks up a mate... >>
DDoS Attacks The
Day Social Network Sites Went Down It seems
that the attack was aimed at one specific user, a Georgian anti-Russian blogger
known as Cyxymu (name of a town in the Republic of Georgia). The attacks targeted
all social network sites where this blogger has a profile - including Facebook,
Twitter, LiveJournal (where his blog is located) and his YouTube account, in an
attempt to keep his voice from being heard. It all happened one day before the
anniversary of one year of the beginning of the armed conflict between Russia
and Georgia... >>

Entertainment Vintage music from across

shot of Martini, please! Make it Pink and entertaining!
The founder defined the band
in a simple, yet quite full of implications way, as a 'little romantic Hollywood
musical of the 1940s or 1950s' ". But, whoever listens to them realises that
there is more to this than is said and that is what creates the mystery behind
the band's success: underneath the layer of music which one can easily identify,
there are hidden sounds and instruments which are barely recognizable at the first
listening... >>
