The ISWiBers, as present and future Change makers, from now on will response to local and global challenges by their actions while back home, trying to make even small changes in their countries first. But the most valuable change that could be felt at the end of the festival - is the change in heart and mind, which sometimes is too personal and too emotional to describe

Two hundred students from more than 40 countries from all over the Europe and World! Welcome - said ISWiB on sunny Sunday, 9th of August and the third International Student Week in Belgrade began!

Students arrived as the guests of the sunny Serbian capital for a week, but left the city as friends forever!

Ten workshops, two open lectures and a panel discussion were a platform for exchange of experiences, knowledge and ideas of open-minded students selected as Change Makers.

Parties in the boat-clubs, at Kalemegdan fortress, trip to Ada Ciganlija lake, National dinner with Serbian traditional food and music, Beer Fest and finally marvelous Country Fair at the garden provided a non formal space for getting to know each other closely, establishing new friendships and new relations between young brains and hearts.

The ISWiBers, as present and future Change makers, from now on will response to local and global challenges by their actions while back home, trying to make even small changes in their countries first. But the most valuable change that could be felt at the end of the festival - is the change in heart and mind, which sometimes is too personal and too emotional to describe.

Thanks to ISWiB 2009 the process of responding to Challenges has started in Belgrade but it will transform to real Changes somewhere not in Belgrade, not in another city in this big world, but somewhere else... It has started and will never end...
