Top 3 on ISWIB 2009
ISWiB - a 100% unforgettable
experience!
Last, and the most important for me is Top number
3 - connecting people. We started to communicate right away. At the arrival at
the hostel. With some, in Belgrade we shared hours, days, nights, good feelings,
bad feelings, happiness and sadness. Probably with some of them we are going to
stay in close touch, and with others, first phase of becoming real friends had
just began

Each
of us, before coming to Belgrade, had to choose a workshop in advance - and my
choice was Media Workshop. So, I should start with Top number 1. Even thought
I knew some facts about Media, this workshop has been a totally new experience
for me. We were discussing lots of things; about Twitter, how to be a good journalist,
and even Belgrade's best journalists came to tell us something new about modern
Media in Serbia. However, the question about freedom of speech stays open for
me, because, as we can imagine, there are different types of freedom of speech
in each European country or elsewhere around the World. In most of the cases,
we can feel the pressure of the "other" side, e.g. politics, business,
or even our friends disagreeing with the words we write or speak in public. The
knowledge we got about this issue is really useful, not only for the career path,
but also in private life.
As Top number 2 - I would mark the program as
whole. Apart from the workshops organized with high quality, we also had chances
to visit the hotspots of Belgrade and feel its glamour. But still, we were students,
so we desperately needed to party as often as possible and the organizers recognized
that. They prepared some party options for us and from there, it was up to us
alone which one to choose for the evening or maybe further. And to choose none,
was an option, too :

It has really been a great experience from all points of view. Unforgettable for
sure!
