Editorial

Dear friends,

last few weeks I spent pretty much "on the road". I was travelling to my hometown first and then even more on south, as duty was calling. Also we had a short trip to the mountain near Belgrade, for the presentation of a new truck. And finally, our correspondent announced to me that she will write about her long trip in a truck. Then I concluded that buses and trucks are my destiny at the moment and decided to give up fighting against them. But the winter is coming and there will be harder conditions for travelling, that's why I suggest you to use the very last days of nice weather (this is of course, for the people from the North hemisphere, I always forget that we have great colleagues on the south).

We decided to offer you a chance to communicate with WAVE magazine more interactive and to tell us what you think about our work. That's why, starting with this issue, you can find e-mail addresses just after the names of authors, and only one click will open a communication channel. Use it and say your opinion!

Very interesting study was presented recently - about Socio-economic impact of internet in emerging and transitional economies. It was done by Boston Consulting Group for Telenor Group and it brings very interesting results. We decided to present you the most interesting parts in our Topic of October. In Politics, you will find two very actual and very controversial topics - Barrack Obama as a laureate of Nobel Peace Prize 2009 and Ireland Referendum on EU. It seems Nobel Committee and Irish people decided to say - Yes, we can! Society brings you articles on Voluntary Youth in Spain, about perception of foreigners in East and West Europe, and presenting "Gerhard" association. Economics is about investment possibilities in Southern Serbia, but Culture & Arts has a story about BITEF 2009 - theatrical festival, as well as about photo exhibition on Saudi Arabia. Science & Tech announce new Microsoft event Sinergija and write about great scientist - as Luan said: Greater than Einstein. Sport is about European basketball championship and new/old tennis champion, young mum Kim Clijsters. Finally, you can travel around the world directly from your chair - Christina takes you from Russia to Germany but - in a truck, and Muhammad presents you the beauty of Neelum Valley in Pakistan.
