New Fun around the World
"Lying
down Game"
While you lie down on the belly
it should look like you are standing on your feet. So, your thumbs should be parallel
with the body and feet straight towards ground. Even if you are in the midle of
the street in front of the Central Prison. Now you are a player of new "lying
down game" and you have only one goal - to make people confused!

Creators
of "Lying down game" are certain Gerry Clarkson (27) and
his friend Christian Lengdon (24) from Somerset, England. They "infected"
their friends and neighbors first, and then people around the world two years
ago, thanks to Facebook. They say that the game is something between devildom
and artistic performance and it is more successful if there are more participants
and more audience. The game is intended to those who can not easily be ashamed,
but also to those who practice not to be ashamed.
You can play "Lying
down game" anywhere, even at home. But it will not be nearly as fun as when
you perform in public. The point is to lie in the "standing" position
and confuse as many people as possible.
The
players formed a Facebook Fan group and they put 1,000 pictures daily of themselves
lie in the trees, rocks, in aircraft engines, one on each other, on the street...
The goal is to engage in game as many people as possible and to stand on the most
unusual place in the world. This game already has its followers in Great Britain,
U.S.A., Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bosnia,
and recently in Canada.
It is performed at your own risk, which
gives it a special charm - say its creators. This is proved the best by the following
case. Eighteen doctors and nurses from the "Great Western" hospital
in England played a game during working hours and they posted photos to Facebook.
It was clearly seen on the images that they lie on the operating tables and hospital
corridors. Accidently manager of the hospital has seen the photos and suspended
seven participants, who now expect the disciplinary procedure.
Facebook
group "lying down game" now has 73,248 registered members. On July 10
this year the first news about this game was broadcasted on Sky TV, BBC and ITV.
