Edu, official representative office of three colleges in the UK - London
School of Commerce, School of Technology and Management and School
of Business and Law was opened in mid-September in Belgrade, Serbia. Belgrade's
team consists of two former students, who completed the program in England by
themselves, with the task to bring this high school and the way of studying in
UK closer to students in the Balcans, or the whole Southeast Europe. They are
here to help students with applying, filling out applications, obtaining visas
and sending documents to London. Otherwise, this school has 52 offices in all
major countries of the world, and besides the main campus in London there are
associated campuses in Australia, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Daka (Bangladesh).
In the long term perspective they are planning opening of college in Serbia, too.

It is very simple to apply. Application itself is the essence of all, those six
or seven pages that contain cover letter, CV and references, recommendations.
We, as a non-profit office, help students to fill out the application properly,
and the point is that they will get the right information from us - explains for
WAVE magazine Ivan Bildi, marketing manager of the Belgrade office.
He points out that these colleges are well-known in the world, but not in Serbia,
because "we do not practice to do these studies, we don't have a real picture
and that's why students are afraid if we try to present them this course from
London".
- Serbia is a very specific market, we are quite suspicious.
Our students are get used to go to top schools and everyone knows about the London
School of Economics or London Business School, because people here mostly go to
these colleges. But only those whose parents are willing to pay 20-30,000 euros
for master studies, and it's not even easy to get into these schools, recommendation
is very important. We offer middle-ranking universities, where the conditions
for entering are not so complicated - says Bildi.
The program consists
of bachelor, master and doctoral studies in management, business, information
technology, tourism, hospitality, finance, accounting. There is a possibility
for transferring students at graduate studies. Scholarships for master studies
are 6,500 pounds, and for bachelor studies 12,000 pounds for all three years.

College offers scholarship that is 40 per cent of the amount and you do not have
to apply for that separately, but anyone who is aceppted to the University automatically
receives the scholarship. It is without special conditions and students have no
obligations after finishing the program. With this convenience, Master studies
cost around 4,000 pounds, and that is certainly the best price for the degree
of that rank.
All the students can apply for the program, from state and
private universities. Most of them are from Megatrend, BK University, Belgrade
Banking Academy and ETF.
During the program, students listen to lectures
in the international groups. Lectures are held three days a week while the remaining
four days students can use for work and pleasure. After graduation, there is a
possibility of getting the British working visa for two years. November enrollment
period is still ongoing.
