Editorial

Dear friends,

we hope your summer holidays have already started, or at least you have finished with exams and/or jobs and have some time for yourself. About 200 students from European universities have decided to start their summer in Belgrade, participating in one out of ten workshops in International Student Week - ISWiB 2010, from July 11 to 18th. This event started to build its tradition and became one of important brands of the capital of Serbia, so we hope it will be better and better every next year. Maybe some of you will be among participants in 2011, and till then - you will read about this year's conference in August issue of WAVE magazine.

Also, WAVE team was responsible for preparing and realizing Media workshop on this year's International Student Week in Belgrade, ISWiB 2010, and that is the reason for being late few days with July issue. We hope this workshop and presentation of WAVE magazine will bring us new young journalists and new readers, maybe some new ideas and topics.

And about actual issue, Topic of July is energy efficiency, very important topic today, so we have opinions from different parts of the world and analysis about effects of climate changes and environmental protection. Politics brings Belgium as a new country presiding in European Union since July 1. In Society you will find an interesting interview with Dutch journalist who is living and working in Turkey for several years, and also a story about old castles in Vojvodina, north province of Serbia. Our colleagues from Reflejo bring to analysis on connection between business and sport in Spain, and we also write about Greek crisis and announced possible sale of their islands to save the country from bankruptcy. Culture & Arts are in two interviews, with producer and cameraman who made film in South America, and with professor who is editor and translator of Spanish speaking books. In Science & Tech you can read about importance of internet in Finland and about different social network, and Sport is about football World Cup and historical Wimbledon match Isner-Mahut. At the end you can Entertain with flamenco and famous flamenco dancer from Seville, Spain.
