Editorial

Dear friends,

there were many bad news last weeks, mostly about earthquakes and disasters. After the one hit Haiti, the same thing happened in Chile and far east. Then we had, and still have, winds, snow and storms, more than we like and need for snowing balls and funny games. Is it really the nature that we cannot affect at all, or we should raise awareness and take a look around us? Watching and reading is ok, but we should finally start with actions, like in those - Thing global, act local! It is only one planet we have. So far.

This time we want to invite you to follow us more often via Twitter. That's why we added that small Twitter buttons at the bottom of every article. One click will bring you to our profile and you will be able to follow WAVE magazine and keep updated. Small change, but very useful and popular tool.

Topic of March is Haiti earthquake and everything that happened after. We have exclusive interviews with people who were on the spotlight to help people and organize humanitarian aid. Politics brings you an article of US defence shield in Europe, this time in Romania, and the second part of Dutch cabinet fall (you remember the last month's issue) on the topic of Afghanistan. Also, you can read about Kennedy family, as the last active member wants to retire from politics. Society is very colorful this time, you can read about International Student Week in Belgrade, our second project. Also, one student's topic - festival of advertising FONklame in Belgrade. But we have international topics also, like Dynamo Effect, an interesting project of radio station from seven European countries. There is also an investigative article on French ban of Muslim veils in public place, and on new way of therapy for children in Serbia - sensory room. Troubles with Lufthansa come in Economics. Culture and Arts is more "Spanish one", as our colleagues from Reflejo wrote about Guitar Art festival and Spanish makers of this instrument, but also had a presentation of Peru, a country in South America. International conference on design is also held in Belgrade. Science & Tech is actual again with European blogging competition, where our Brazilian friend will take part in. Google has two articles this time - its new product Google Buzz and about continious problems with China and EU. Sport is about Winter Olympics in Vancouver, just finished, and Entertainment is very beautiful this time, with one model and one hiphop singer interviews. Also, there is a short information on new way of flirting, Speed Dating.
