Such
a small part of the Dutch crowd expected the national team to be in the final
of the World Cup in South Africa. Now, one month later after the Netherlands has
lost against Spain, the streets are as they were, the people are as they were.
Orange binds us together, without the national colours everybody is going its
own way, and so do we slowly forget about a great cup, about great matches, about
a fantastic football team... 
I
was born in a sport family - my father is a volleyball coach, my mother met him
on the playground, he was her coach, then my elder sister was born and later started
to play the game also. So it was inevitable for me not to fall in love with volleyball.
Every single day the game was the main topic of conversation on breakfast, dinner,
whatever. I couldn't possibly resist...
