Marija BulatWe prepared for this year's ISWiB for about nine months. We had a team of about 30 people and delegation of responsibilities was done through sectors. Sometimes it was full of strain, but above all it was a pleasure to stand in front of this team. Even though my position evolves management I want to emphasize that it was more a cooperation and that I am very proud of all these young people who invested their time and energy and with a lot of enthusiasm organized this festival... full story

Upon arriving at ISWiB I was pleasantly surprised by the scope of the term "International", however, I soon realised I gravitate towards the Balkaners, the ex-Yugoslavs, to be precise. Having a common language is important when you wish to share a joke with someone, or to comment on a song blaring out of somebody's car; also, when you realise that people understand your curses, it forces you to be a little more decent

ISWiB 2010 - Panel discussionDerek Small held an open lecture at this year's festival on July 13th. Speaking about what is possible when young people learn to overcome their personal challenges and become the best they could be, professor Small was committed to the idea that there is more that unites us than that which divides us and we should focus more on those similarities than on the differences

ISWiB 2010 after hours
ISWiB 2010 - Country FairOne of traditions is Country Fair taking place every year. On the fourth day participants were asked to prepare their national stands in Kalemegdan park. Each team prepared their traditional snacks, beverages to share with other participants and visitors as well as pictures, brochures and presentations to be shown. Some ISWiBers went even further than that by taking on their national dresses and performing dances accompanied by others playing traditional instruments. Later on MTV concert took place
